Breeeleeeiiiigh!!!

I find myself emphasising this name too many times on a daily basis. Breleigh is my middle child. My first girl. The fun loving free-spirited two year old.

Let me tell you....this little girl as cute as she may be gives us a run for our money everyday. If she is not parachuting off the furniture she is drawing on it. If she is not playing with her food she is wearing it. At least once a day I find myself thinking "what possessed you to do that?" She is never clean....not because of lack of bathing, but because I swear she can suck the dirt out of the air and proceed to smear it on her face!!

Tonight was no exception....

Usually it is me that faces the brunt of Breleighs destruction, but tonight Chris let me nap while he put the kids to bed and long behold the lotion monster came out of the closet.

The usual bedtime routine goes like this...we put the kids to bed and for about hour we put them back to bed. Mainly Bre!! =) She likes to get up and read books, play with toothpaste, and hide in the linen closet. Tonight after being told to go back to bed yet again she proclaimed to Chris "I dirty!" Chris went to get her back into bed and saw that she was (for the second time this week) covered in lotion. From her binki to her diaper, every part of her was sparkling with lotion. In fact she had so much on her that there was no hope of just rubbing it in or wiping it off. It was time for her second bath of the day.

After her bath Daddy went to put his little girl back in bed and she informed him that her bed was "dirty" too. You guessed it...the entire bottle of baby lotion squeezed out all over her bed. God I love this kid!!! Dad was the hero and got her bed all fixed up for her so she could get some sleep. Good thing because I would hate it if she was too tired tomorrow to find something else to get into!!!

Birthdays and Babies!!!

After a full night of work and about 4 hours of sleep Keigan, Bre, and I headed out to a friends birthday party. It went really well. They both behaved AMAZINGLY!! My girlfriend Lisa made the best encheladas and the hubby stayed home with Mckena so I got some quality time in with my girlfriends. I have realized today that I have become one of those moms...you know the ones who look at the way others raise their kids and think WHAT ARE THEY DOING!!! I shouldn't be that way, but some people should really not have kids. We are home now and watching my little sisters baby. It's funny to see how the kids and the hubby act with him. It's like you never forget how to do the little baby thing. Still dosen't make me want anymore!! He's got all the cute baby stuff, little fingers, little toes, and little clothes, but he's sooo little that it is kinda boring. I can't wait till he is older and can interact with all his cousins. Soon enough he will be there. All us moms know that it happens so fast.

Tonight is my friday at work and I can not wait to get it over with. Possibly going to another birthday tomorrow with the whole family. Going to depend on how we all are feeling. Gramps is celebrating another year of wisdom, but is going thru chemo so we need to be really carful about going to visit.

Have a list of things a mile long to do, but don't see much of it getting accomplished. It's going to be way too nice out to work around the house!!! I am sure the dishes and the laundry will not disapper if I don't get to them.

Hehe...little Johnathan has the hiccups. Hubby says he sounds like a little mouse! Come to think of it he's kinda right!

A bit of backround...

Where to begin....My name is Lynae and I first want to say that I am completely new at this. I have been contemplating starting a blog for a long time, but just can never seem to get around to it. Well today is the day!! The kids are in bed and I have a few minutes before it is off to work. Yep, I am a working mom of three under 5. Life here is always crazy. My three little ones Keigan (the boy), Breleigh (bees), and Mckena (monkey) keep me on my toes at all times. I have a wonderful husband and an amazing group of friends. We may have our moments, but I have to say that I am truly blessed. I am going to attempt to keep up on this blog, but I have learned that I can not guarantee anything!!
